DIY DRY CLEANING AT HOME

Here at Happily MeCo, we understand that taking your Silk Scrunchies™ to the dry cleaners every time that they get dirty is a hassle. For that reason, we've put together a brief guide to DIY Dry Cleaning at Home.

1. If you're anything like us, your scrunchie gets tangled after you put it up in your hair. To avoid creases and damage in the silk, straighten out your scrunchie before you begin the cleaning process.

2. Quality is super important. Silk Scrunchies™ can become discolored and worn if you throw them in the wash/dryer by themselves. This is because they are made from 100% raw silk! If you have a stain on your scrunchie, try blot dabbing. Take a washcloth and dampen it. After doing so, blot the washcloth on the scrunchie and leave it to dry inside. (Note: we recommend detaching your bow before beginning the cleaning process.)

3. At Home Dry Cleaning Kit: Luckily there are kits to dry clean your clothes at home! If you don't already know about Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaner Starter Kit 4 Loads then go check them out! They are super easy to use, and you can avoid the nuisance of going to the dry cleaners all of the time!
